ThruColorTM  high pressure laminate (HPL) may be used in any application where a solid color edge is desired. ThruColor™ HPL is intended for use in applications where the edge of the laminate contributes to the aesthetics of the final product.

Nevamar’s manufacturing process provides a second-generation color-through laminate that is more flexible and much less likely to chip than other color-through laminates. Solid color ThruColor™ laminate is also ideal for high-wear applications since gouges and cuts will not readily show. Due to its unique composition, ThruColor™ HPL will vary in color from corresponding colors of Standard HPL. Sample evaluation is recommended.

Electrostatic Dissipative laminates (ESD) diffuse static electricity to protect electronics and other static-sensitive devices from electric charges that could cause damage during manufacturing or assembly.

Features:
  • Low electrical resistance (surface to ground less than 1 x 109 ohms)
  • Absolute charge drainage and zero voltage suppression. ESD exhibits no voltage suppression and dissipates a 5,000 volt static charge to zero in less than 0.01 second per FTM-101C at 5 to 95 percent relative humidity.
  • ESD is postformable but will require a larger radius than standard laminate.
  • Resistant to most common solvents, hot solder and fluxes.
  • ESD is guaranteed to maintain its static control properties.
  • Due to the unique composition of this product, ESD is available in solid colors only and are not exact matches to standard HPL (sample evaluation is recommended)
  • ESD laminate is available in Suede (LS) finish only
Standard colors:

Nevamar® Meluminum® Aluminum Core laminate is a high-pressure laminate designed for interior surfaces requiring high strength, low surface flammability and smoke generation. Meluminum® Aluminum Core laminate meets the applicable requirements set forth in NFPA 130, and the Code of Federal Regulations. It also provides excellent resistance to abrasion and stains, with ease of maintenance and design flexibility.

Meluminum® laminate is manufactured in various thicknesses. It consists of a surface sheet of alpha cellulose paper impregnated with a melamine resin and a special binder sheet, both thermofused to an aluminum metal core. Standard Alloys and hardness used for Nevamar’s Aluminum laminates are 5052 and 3003, depending on aluminum thickness and specification.

For decades Nevamar has been a leading supplier of laminated access flooring products. Ideal for applications requiring cleanliness and easy access. Nevamar flooring tiles are tough, yet attractive and easy to clean.

A selection of classic and contemporary designs providing aesthetic appeal with outstanding performance. All items are manufactured to order in standard grades. Most designs are also available in general purpose, high-pressure laminate sheet goods to coordinate with cabinetry or built-ins. Due to the differences between HPL and floor tile processes, slight color pattern variations may occur.

Nevamar standard grade Laminated Floor Tile has low static generation, especially important for computer rooms. Tiles are manufactured to meet or exceed the requirements of ANSI (American National Standard Institute),/NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association) Publication LD3-2005 for high pressure decorative plastic laminate. Also, Nevamar Laminated Floor Tile complies with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association). The installed floor should be tested according to the test procedure outlined in NFPA 99 Chapter 3-1993 Edition for Electrical Properties. Once installed, the floor’s electrical properties will be affected by humidity, adhesives used, panel paint system and the overall continuity to ground.

Nevamar Conductive Flooring Laminate has significantly lower surface and volume resistivity, thus resulting in a product tailored for application requiring rapid bleed down of static electricity charges. The conductive components are completely encapsulated within the surface and, as such, are not a source of environmental contamination. Nevamar Conductive Flooring is manufactured to order using the same procedures employed in the production of standard Nevamar floor tile, incorporating process changes to construction of the surface and core. The special construction of the surface sheet offers a distinctive pattern and is available in two color variations.

Applications:
  • Computer Rooms
  • Clean Rooms
  • Hospital Operating Rooms
Choices:
  • 8 Standard Grade Colors/patterns
  • 2 Conductive Grade Patterns
  • 1 Finish
